animal testing
earth pure's products are all suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
This means that they are not tested on animals and do not contain any animal products. You can thus be rest assured that you can pamper yourself without having caused any cruelty or suffering to any fellow being.
JUNE 2011
We are currently aware that the use of palm oil in toiletries and food products is attributing to deforestation and hence the reduction of the habitat of oranutans. We have therefore made the decision to STOP USING PALM OIL IN ALL OF OUR PRODCUTS. N.B. Some stock may still contain palm oil (from sustainable forests) shown on our ingredients list, detailed with each product. Replenished stock will be replaced with organic coconut butter and shea butter as soon as it is sold.
Running a small business also means that we can make executive decisions such as being a vegan company. This means that we do not use any animal products such as lanolin, goat’s milk or beeswax, commonly used in skincare products, throughout the whole of our range of natural lifestyle products.
We only test our products on ourselves and our willing family and friends, then ensure that our products are safety assessed by a chartered chemist. My experience as a scientific researcher has led me to believe that animal testing for skincare products is not only futile but cruel. Every time that someone buys one of our products they are investing in a product made with a conscience, rather than one supported by misery and finance.
